Land instruments

Current planning is that the land part will be deployed in March 2009 together with the deployment of the marine instruments and recovered during August 2009. We are planning to install up to 20 seismic stations as well as one DOAS instrument and one ground based INSAR system (see WP1 for details).

Data processing

As our wireless network only allows the connection of 14 stations, some of the stations will record their data on disk only. Those data as well as the marine date will be fed into the data base at the end of the experiment for further testing and development of the tools designed in WP 3 and 5. We hope that land and marine data due to their much better areal coverage allow a much better localization of seismic events.
